We've put together a brilliant Heavy Weight tactical backpack, made from tough technical fabric that is abrasion-resistant and waterproof. This medium-sized universal backpack suits everyone. Its capacity is 45 L and it measures 50x32x20 cm when averagely packed. Yet this universal backpack is so cleverly designed that it holds far more than it seems, while remaining comfortable to carry thanks to the firm padded panels on the back and shoulders. On the other hand, you can use the additional vertical and horizontal straps to compress it so it meets size limits. 

We've travelled a fair chunk of the world with this backpack, so we know it meets all the demands of anyone who buys one. It comfortably passes airline size limits, yet holds everything you need whether you're away for a few days or a few weeks. 

Pockets and storage space

Our Heavy Weight tactical backpack has 2 large main pockets and 2 smaller pockets. Webbing straps are stitched across its entire surface, allowing you to attach additional components.

The main pocket opens almost all the way round, so you can open the backpack like a suitcase and get at your things in comfort. The main pocket also contains a further pocket, for a laptop for example, and a zipped mesh pocket for smaller items.

The second pocket opens slightly less, but still enough to fold it out and get better access to the backpack. This pocket also contains two smaller pouches for small items.

The two other smaller pockets are yours to use as you like, for the items you want to reach quickly without opening the big main pockets. 

For example, we travelled with the backpack from the Czech Republic to Athens and then on to Crete, carrying a laptop with its charger, flip-flops, a towel, spare shoes, swimwear, several pairs of shorts, several T-shirts, two pairs of jeans and hoodies just in case, underwear, toiletries and other bits and pieces. We were on the road like that for 14 days, flying with a low-cost airline. 

The shoulder straps are connected across the chest by another strap with a buckle. They are connected the same way at the waist/hips by a hip belt for extra comfort.

Beyond travelling, we've used the backpack for everyday trips to the gym, into town, on hikes, on the bike and for other activities. 

The upper small pocket has Velcro panels for attaching patches, which we can also make to order, just the way you like.
